About the Role
We are looking for caring, reliable and flexible Evening Care Assistants to join our community care team in and around Solihull B92.
As an Evening Care Assistant, you will visit clients in their own homes during the evening, providing high-quality personal care, companionship and practical support. You will play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable and supported at the end of their day.
Previous care experience is not essential. We provide comprehensive training, online learning and supervised shadowing shifts with an experienced senior care worker, giving you the skills and confidence to provide excellent care.
Key Requirements
- Must live locally to Solihull B92 or the surrounding area
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car – essential
- Willing and able to provide care to both male and female clients
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Flexible and willing to work at short notice when required
- Reliable, caring and committed to providing high-quality care
- Able to travel between clients' homes throughout your shift

Main Duties & Responsibilities
As an Evening Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Travelling to clients' homes throughout the evening to provide care and support
- Supporting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Preparing meals and supporting clients with nutrition and hydration
- Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans, training and company policies
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with evening routines and preparing for bedtime
- Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and washing up where required
- Encouraging independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing
- Monitoring and reporting any concerns or changes in a client's condition
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and infection-control procedures

Important Information
