Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain food safety standards while preparing food items and beverages.
- Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills.
- Keep the café area clean and organised, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to fulfil customer orders promptly.
Experience
- Previous Barista experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic food preparation skills are desirable.
