## About Us
HQ Signs and Print is a growing signage, print, and vehicle graphics company based in Dudley. We design, manufacture, and install everything from shop signage and vehicle wraps to illuminated signs, window graphics, and exhibition displays. We're expanding and looking for a skilled, reliable person to join the team.
## The Role
We need a hands-on Sign Maker & Installer to help produce and fit high-quality signage for our growing client base. You'll be working across a mix of workshop production and on-site installation — no two days the same.
## What You'll Be Doing
- Producing signage: cutting vinyl, applying graphics, assembling ACM/aluminium boards, mounting prints
- Installing signs, window graphics, and vehicle wraps at customer sites (shopfronts, vehicles, offices)
- Preparing surfaces properly before application (cleaning, priming, measuring)
- Working from design specs and job sheets to a high standard — accuracy matters
- Loading/unloading materials and keeping the van and workshop organised
- Occasionally working at height (ladders/towers) for shopfront signage — full training/PPE provided
- Representing HQ Signs and Print professionally on customer sites
## What We're Looking For
- Experience or some in signage, vehicle wrapping, print finishing, or a similar trade (joinery, vehicle prep, decorating) — full sign-specific training available for the right person.
- Good attention to detail — text, alignment, and finish need to be spot on every time
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Full UK driving licence (required — you'll be driving to customer sites)
- Physically fit — some lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in all weather
- Punctual, reliable, and takes pride in their work
- Bonus: experience with large format printers, plotters, or vehicle wrap application

## Hours
Part - Time but may go into Full Time for the Right Candidate. Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm] occasional flexibility needed for install deadlines.
