Duties
- Assist with site preparation by loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials or assembling components
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, following all safety protocols
- Transport materials and supplies around the site using carts or forklifts when certified
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and injuries
- Perform routine inspections and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures; previous experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to reach the work site consistently
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Certifications such as OSHA safety training or forklift operation are advantageous but not mandatory
