About the Role
We are seeking to appoint to the role of Procurement Operations Buyer.
As a key member of the Support Solutions and Growth Team, this role is integral to YPO’s Community, Infrastructure & Support Solutions function within the Procurement Services & Supply Solutions Team.
The successful candidate will support the Procurement Operations Category Lead to oversee a wider team facilitating the end-to-end procurement life cycle.
The role will involve managing a workplan and pipeline of activity, working alongside Category Teams, ensuring a smooth and compliant operational procurement process, through tender stage and Further Competitions.
This post is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. The post-holder is required to demonstrate an appropriate level of fluency under the duty as detailed within the job description and specification for the post.

In depth understanding of Public Sector Procurement and Legislation

Customer focused team player

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within YPO and our customers

Ability to implement effective systems and performance management

Full member or studying towards being a member of the chartered institute of purchasing and supply (CIPS)

Experience of procurement processes in different areas of the public sector (PCR 2015, PA 2023) is desirable but not essential.
