Junior Setting Out Engineer required for a live project in the Macclesfield area. Must be strong personality, capable, organised and reliable. Sub-Contract/Project.
- Setting out foundations, drainage, roads, kerbs, slabs, steelwork, etc.
- Using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, levels and laser levels.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and coordinates.
- Establishing and checking benchmarks, datums and control points.
- Carrying out level checks and dimensional surveys.
- Providing setting-out information to site supervisors and trades.
- Checking completed work against drawings and tolerances.
- Recording survey data and maintaining site records.
- Working with the Site Engineer/Senior Engineer to resolve discrepancies.
- Assisting with as-built surveys and quality-control checks.
