Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness? The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities and Administration Manager to join our management team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective services and supporting our mission to transform lives.
About the Role

Manage housing management and administration functions within the Lifehouse including repairs, rents and audits.

Oversee facilities, maintenance, and refurbishment projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Monitor service delivery, financial processes, and budget performance.

Lead a team of 2-night workers, encouraging them in their professional development within the service.

Ensure effective communication systems

Ensure that the accommodation is maintained to a high standard

Collaborate with the Chaplain and promote The Salvation Army’s mission and values.

Deputise for the Service Manager and provide on-call support as part of the duty system.
What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in facilities management and administration.

Proven ability to manage budgets and financial processes.
-
Knowledge of health and safety, building maintenance, and occupancy agreements.

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Experience managing and developing staff.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
-
Commitment to continuous professional development.

Willingness to work within and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army.
Desirable

Experience working with vulnerable people.

Project management or health and safety qualifications.

Valid first aid certificate.
