My Life My Care are looking for a compassionate and reliable self-employed visiting carer to support a 92-year-old male client living with dementia in March, Cambridgeshire. This is a crucial role providing consistency and high-quality care.

Pay: From £20.00 per hour
The Role: Consistent Weekend Visiting Care
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- 1 hour in the morning (8:30am)
- 1 hour in the evening (7:00pm)
- Additional shifts may become available
Duties Include:
- Full assistance with personal care
- Washing, dressing, transferring, and toileting
What We’re Looking For: Your Profile
We are seeking an exceptional individual who is kind, patient, and consistent.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Specific Client Preference: We are prioritising applications from a male carer to match the client's preference for personal care.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional care experience is required, with specific experience in Dementia care highly desirable.
Recruitment Requirements & Support from My Life My Care
- Must be registered with HMRC as a self-employed carer.
- Work authorisation: Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service for Adults Workforce.
- Enhanced Recruitment Process: To ensure families receive safe and reliable care, our self-employed carer recruitment process is thorough. This includes mandatory safeguarding and dementia care training certificates, full explanations for employment gaps, thorough reference checks, and the completion of a healthcare questionnaire and self-declaration.
