Charlies Stores is an independent, growing company, which operates within the retail sector. At Charlies Stores we pride ourselves in being able to meet all of our customer’s seasonal needs - from footwear and cooking utensils, all the way through to chainsaws and camping; we sell quality products, from famous brands, at competitive prices.
We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives for our busy independent Warehouse based in Buttington, Welshpool.
The successful candidate should have a friendly positive attitude and should be able to manage their own time effectively. Candidates need to be aware that the role will include an element of manual lifting and working outside.
- Weekly pay
- Up to 28 days Holidays a year (5 day working week)

Various roles to suit include;
- Locating and moving stock around to various locations within the warehouse using MHE equipment depending on seasonal needs
- Taking delivery of goods and ensuring the booking in and transporting of stock is correct
- Picking and loading stock onto pallets as required by our stores
- Picking and packing orders for our busy E-commerce department
- To operate various MHE equipment in a safe timely manner as per training that will be provided
- Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift
- Locating stock into the warehouse racking both manually and with a forklift
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and ensuring all records are kept up to date to drive stock accuracy
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained
1500 Hours - 2300 Fours Rota 5 days and ( Weekends during our busy periods November - December)
