We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing family-run business.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV driver who is looking for something different from standard haulage or delivery work and wants to learn a new trade, develop their skills and build experience in the sewage and waste industry.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right person with a willingness to learn.
The role will involve:
- Emptying sewage systems and other wastewater systems
- Operating tanker pumps, hoses and equipment
- Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks
- Completing waste paperwork
- Liaising with customers on site
- Keeping vehicles and equipment clean and well maintained
This is a hands-on and varied role, with no two days necessarily being the same. Based in Aylesbury and operating across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Has previous HGV driving experience
- Holds a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work
- Is comfortable working outdoors
- Can work independently and use their initiative
- Is keen to learn and develop their skills
