WJD Repairs is one of the UK’s leading mobile device refurbishment and repair companies. Operating from our facilities in Doncaster and Dublin, we process thousands of smartphones and tablets every month for customers across the UK and Europe.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Mobile Device Refurbishment Operative to join our team.
This is a hands-on role working with smartphones and tablets. Full training will be provided, making this position suitable for candidates with or without previous mobile phone experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for refurbishing, testing and processing smartphones and tablets to company quality standards.
Your duties will include:
- Disassembling and reassembling smartphones and tablets
- Glass refurbishment and cosmetic restoration
- Replacing components such as batteries, housings, cameras and charging ports
- Testing devices and identifying faults
- Cleaning and preparing devices for resale
- Performing quality control checks
- Following refurbishment procedures and company processes
- Accurately recording completed work
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
- Working towards daily productivity and quality targets

Previous experience in mobile phone repair, electronics, manufacturing, assembly work or refurbishment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Full training will be provided.

Pay: £24,785.00 per year
