As an End of Line Operative, you’ll play a key role in delivering the quality our customers depend on.
Working as part of a team, you’ll help ensure our production lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards — contributing directly to the products seen on shelves every day.
You will form part of a team responsible for the safe and efficient running of machinery and act as the final line of defence against quality issues, ensuring only the best products leave the line.
At Finlay, we operate a wide range of machinery producing different formats of tea and coffee — from round or square tea bags to ground coffee, whole beans, and fruit and herbal infusions. No two areas are the same, giving you the opportunity to build varied and valuable skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and monitor machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of product quality
- Act as the final quality check before products leave the line
- Work as part of a close-knit production team
- Support product changeovers and line adjustments
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Take ownership of your role and support continuous improvement

You’ll learn how to:

From tea bags to coffee and botanical blends — you’ll gain real, transferable skills that support long-term career development.
