Accounting Technician or relevant experience in the sector. Based in Newtownards.
Our client portfolio is rapidly expanding with exciting new clients and because of this we are looking to recruit an Accounting Technician to join our team.
The Successful candidate must have knowledge in the following:
1. Preparation of Vat Returns on Sage line 50 under new HMRC Making Tax Digital rules for a variety of clients in all business sectors.
2. Payroll processing, including running of weekly/monthly payrolls including RTI submissions and setting up and running auto enrolment.
3. CIS returns.
4. Assist Accountants in accounts preparation.
5. Computerised Accounts, using Sage Accounts Production.
6. Preparing Monthly Management accounts.
7. Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
8. Microsoft office.
Desired knowledge, not essential
1. Preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns.
2. Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns.
The successful candidate must have
1. Fully Qualified Accounting Technician or relevant experience.
2. Minimum 2 Years Practice Experience.
3. Good oral and written communication skills.
4. Good manner all round.
5. Be reliable.We are keen to recruit someone who has a positive and helpful attitude and contributes well in a close team.
