Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Self Employed Fencing Labourer with a valid CSCS Card & UTR number, to join our team. This role involves assisting with fencing installation and related tasks on-site, supporting the overall progress of various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working within fencing or construction environments and possess a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Duties
- Assisting with the installation and repair of fencing structures on-site
- Handling and manoeuvring fencing materials, including panels, posts, and gravel boards
- Using hand tools and power tools safely to cut, fix, and secure fencing components
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Supporting with site organisation, including material deliveries and storage
- Assisting tradespeople with specialised tasks such as carpentry, masonry, or fabrication as required
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card essential for site access and compliance
- Valid UTR number for CIS purposes
- Prior experience in fencing or related construction trades preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of construction processes such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or plumbing is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
