About Us
Student Facility Management Ltd is a specialist property management and operations company, with a strong foundation in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
We work closely with property owners, investors, and management companies to deliver end-to-end management of residential assets, combining operational delivery with full financial oversight.
Unlike traditional block managers, our work extends beyond service charge administration. Alongside PBSA, our portfolio also includes residential lettings and leasehold/RTM developments, giving our team exposure to a varied and fast-moving property environment.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Property Finance Officer to support the financial management of a mixed property portfolio.
This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of finance and property operations, involving service charge accounting, rental income, and client fund management.
It’s ideally suited to someone who already has some finance or property experience and is looking to build further expertise in property finance, rather than a purely entry-level accounts position.

- Reconcile client and operational bank accounts, resolving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records across PBSA, lettings, and leasehold properties
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring spend against forecasts

- Support leasehold processes including sales information and account queries
- Liaise with tenants, leaseholders, suppliers, and internal teams
- Process supplier invoices and support purchase ledger activities
- Assist with recharges and cross-party cost allocations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and client accounting requirements
About You
- Experience in accounts, finance, or client accounting, ideally within property or a similar environment
- Some exposure to service charge, lettings, or multi-account reconciliations is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Comfortable working across multiple accounts and priorities
- Confident using Excel and multiple finance systems
- Good communication skills and able to deal with queries professionally
- Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
