Who we are
TK Elevator’s service and maintenance operations are supported by our International Technical Services network (ITS): a global network of research centres and product experts dedicated to providing high-level technical support for our competitors’ elevators and escalators.
Join the International Technical Services (ITS) team in Manchester and help us turn connected equipment data into practical intelligence that keeps elevators and escalators moving.
Working within our Digital Operations Centre (DOC), you will analyse data from connected elevator, escalator and IoT systems across Europe and Africa, identifying patterns, trends and opportunities that can improve equipment reliability, technical decision-making and customer outcomes.
This is not simply a reporting role. You will work alongside technical specialists, field engineers, country organisations and digital teams to connect what the data tells us with what is actually happening on equipment in the field. Your analysis will help us understand faults, validate recommendations, improve diagnostic capability and continually develop how ITS uses data to support our customers and field organisations.
As our digital capability continues to evolve, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to wider analytics, predictive-maintenance, AI and digitalisation initiatives across ITS
- Analyse data from connected elevators, escalators, IoT devices and associated digital systems.
-
Identify faults, recurring behaviours, trends and emerging patterns within complex equipment datasets.
-
Develop dashboards, reports and analytical tools that provide clear and actionable operational insight.
-
Translate complex technical data into information that can be understood and acted upon by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Work closely with DOC colleagues, technical specialists and field engineers to correlate digital information with real-world equipment behaviour.
-
Analyse the outcomes of DOC recommendations and field interventions, helping us understand what worked, what didn't and why.
-
Support the development and validation of diagnostic, predictive and data-driven use cases.
-
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, technical support and customer outcomes through better use of data.
-
Work with colleagues and stakeholders across Europe and Africa to understand different operational requirements and identify opportunities for scalable solutions.
-
Contribute analytical expertise to wider ITS innovation, digitalisation and AI initiatives.
-
Challenge what the data appears to tell us, ask the next question and help turn information into meaningful action.
We're looking for someone who is naturally analytical, curious and comfortable working with complexity.
You don't need to arrive knowing everything about elevators and escalators — we have plenty of technical experts who can help with that. What matters is your ability to interrogate information, recognise patterns, ask intelligent questions and communicate what you discover clearly
Essential experience and capability:
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience working with complex datasets in a Data Analyst, Operational Analyst, Engineering Analyst or similar role.
-
Experience using SQL to interrogate and analyse data.
-
Experience developing effective data visualisations and reporting, ideally using Power BI or comparable tools.
-
Ability to translate analytical findings into clear business or operational insight.
-
Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Attention to detail combined with the ability to understand the wider purpose behind the analysis.
-
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international, multidisciplinary environment.
Experience that would be advantageous:
