Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy sports and leisure venue in Bootle. This is a hands-on management role for someone who can lead from the front, manage and develop a team, maintain excellent operational standards and understand the commercial side of running a successful bar. You'll be responsible for areas including staff management and rotas, stock control, cash handling, bar and cellar standards, customer experience and supporting the continued growth of the business. We're looking for someone who doesn't simply keep things running, but actively looks for ways to increase sales, control costs, improve standards and create a great atmosphere for both customers and staff. The starting rate is £15.00 per hour, working approximately 40–45 hours per week, with a clear opportunity to progress to £16.00–£17.00 per hour following a successful probationary period and achievement of agreed performance KPIs.
