Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Groundworkers to join our team for various up coming projects.
Duties
- Assisting with excavation, trenching, pipe-laying and site preparation activities
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Assisting with the installation of drainage, kerbing, and other groundwork components
- Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Operating basic tools and machinery under supervision
- Ensuring the work area is clean, organised, and free from hazards
- Supporting team members with various tasks as required to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundwork or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- A valid UK driving licence is essential
- Willingness to follow health and safety protocols at all times
Applicants should be prepared for physical activity and committed to working safely on-site. Pay dependant on experience.
Pay: £18.00-£23.00 per hour
