Competitive hourly rate of £12.88p/h
Typical shifts are Monday to Friday

About you
We’d love to receive your application to our Receptionist vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:
Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this isn’t a must-have)
A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised
Great communication skills, with a passion for delivering great service and building strong relationships with both colleagues and patients
Patient Coordinator Responsible for managing new patient enquiries, converting referrals into booked consultations, and guiding patients through their journey from initial contact to consultation. Supports treatment coordination by discussing treatment plans, following up with patients, and providing cover for the Treatment Coordinator when needed. Requires excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills, with the ability to use practice management systems and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties
Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area Handle patient records in line with confidentiality and data protection policies Process payments and manage daily financial transactions
Patient Coordinator Duties (New Patients)
Act as the first point of contact for all new patient enquiries Respond to dental referrals and convert enquiries into booked consultations Provide clear and informative communication about treatments and services Build rapport with patients and ensure a smooth onboarding experience Manage patient journeys from initial contact through to consultation Provide cover for the Treatment Coordinator during leave or absence Assist with treatment discussions, planning, and patient follow-ups Support patients in understanding treatment options and next steps Help manage treatment schedules and ensure continuity of care Previous experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Confident using practice management systems and general IT software Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
