We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Machine Operator to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll help keep our warehouse and machinery running efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping. Full training will be provided for the right candidate, so previous machine operating experience is helpful but not essential.
What you'll be doing
- Operating machinery safely and in accordance with Company procedures.
- Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any faults or defects.
- Assisting with basic machine maintenance and keeping equipment clean and serviceable.
- Receiving, storing and organising stock within the warehouse.
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining good warehouse organisation.
- Processing and sorting materials, including palletising second-hand boxes when required.
- Assisting customers collecting goods from site and providing a professional, friendly service.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Following health and safety procedures, including wearing the appropriate PPE.
- Reporting accidents, incidents, hazards or near misses promptly.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Undertaking other reasonable duties to support the smooth operation of the warehouse and site.

- Ability to work safely whilst following Company procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials as required.
- Previous warehouse or machine operating experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential.
