Blue Sky Studios is looking for a Merchandiser to join our fast-growing Yorkshire-based business, which has been established for more than 20 years.
We supply most of the UK’s major retailers with licensed stationery, gifting, and back-to-school products.
We work with exciting licenses including Harry Potter-K-Pop, SpongeBob, South Park, Mofusand and many many more.

You need to have at least 1 year of merchandising experience within a retail/wholesale environment, ideally having dealt with Far East suppliers.
Applicants with other supply chain experience may be considered
You will work closely with the senior members of the product buying and merchandising team; helping to manage the purchase order process and working directly with the domestic and international supply base to ensure the smooth running of orders.
Your role as Merchandiser will include:
* Ensuring that purchase orders are raised accurately and on time.
* Working closely with the product development team to ensure that new product development follows agreed timelines.
* Working closely with the Supply Chain Director and Senior Merchandisers to ensure that stock levels are accurate.
* Speaking directly to factories and customers regarding the progress of orders and ensure that accurate action is taken following this.
* Creating and distributing the factory progress reports using the bespoke Critical Path
* Continuously improving the accuracy of the company's forecasting and planning procedure.
The successful Merchandiser applicant must have:
* Ideally at least 1 years of hands-on merchandising experience or Supply Chain
* Experience of working with major retailers or grocers (Tesco, Morrison, Asda Etc.) either on an FOB or Domestic basis
* Excellent numerical skills.
* Experience of dealing directly with suppliers and working to a critical path.
* Experience of demand planning and forecasting. * Excellent communicating skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
