About the role...
The Catering and Cleaning service are looking to recruit Relief Facilities Support Operatives for our Building Cleaning Service. Catering and Cleaning provide a range of services to all council buildings including schools and academies. The service consists of the following areas: Civic Catering, School Catering, Building Cleaning & Supporting Independence Service.
The successful candidates will undertake a range of duties across Council facilities, mainly Primary, Secondary & Special Schools.
This is a zero hour contract, hours will vary in line with demand and the work is on a split shift basis.
The key roles of the post are included in the job profile and include a wide range of duties including security related infrastructure, carrying out minor repairs and carrying our site specific and designated area cleaning.

You must have...
- A current full driving licence
- Experience of planning and prioritising work activities
- Experience of working with limited supervision to a high standard
- Experience of manually handling furniture, materials and equipment
- The ability to work within a flexible shift pattern that may be subject to change at short notice
