Overview
We’re looking for a consistent, reliable, and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in a private residence in Wythenshawe. This role is based on a once-weekly clean (2+ hours) with a minimum 12-month contract, and potential to extend beyond that. We need someone who takes real pride in their work — thorough, sharp, and professional in everything they do, from surface cleaning to laundry care.
You must be able to travel to Wythenshawe or already live nearby, and be someone we can depend on to show up consistently and deliver the same high standard every visit.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces to a high standard
- Change bedsheets and take them home to wash, returning them clean and ready for the next visit
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchens to a high hygiene standard
- Handle rubbish removal and general tidying
- Maintain organised, safe storage of any cleaning supplies used
- Communicate clearly and professionally about preferences, access, and any household needs
- Use cleaning products safely and responsibly
Requirements
- Must live in or be able to reliably travel to Wythenshawe
- Able to commit to a minimum 1-year contract (once weekly, 2+ hours), with potential to extend
- Strong attention to detail — nothing missed, nothing rushed
- Hardworking, punctual, and professional
- Trustworthy and comfortable working independently in a private home
- Prior cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred but not essential
- Physically able to manage standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the clean
Pay: £8/hour
Pay: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
