Administration Assistant (Operations & Sales Support)

We’re looking for a well-organised, professional Administration Assistant to support our busy team. This role is ideal for someone who is process-driven, doesn’t miss steps, communicates confidently on the phone, and can support enquiries through to booking.
Key responsibilities
Answering inbound calls and emails in a polite, professional manner
Managing customer enquiries, booking appointments, and confirming schedules
Preparing quotes, invoices, and job paperwork/contracts accurately
Updating CRM/spreadsheets and keeping customer records tidy and complete
Following set procedures/checklists to ensure nothing is missed
Liaising with installers/production to track jobs and update customers
Taking payments, processing refunds (where required), and basic account admin
Supporting light sales activity: following up warm leads, confirming bookings, and handling objections professionally
What we’re looking for
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail (you double-check everything)
Strong phone manner and written communication
Confident using systems: email, calendars, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), CRM
Process-minded: you enjoy doing things properly, consistently, and in order
Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple tasks without dropping standards
Comfortable speaking to customers and supporting bookings/sales.
Desirable (not essential)
Admin experience in trades, construction, home improvement, or customer service
Basic sales/admin background (quotes, bookings, follow-ups)
Familiar with job scheduling, order tracking, or production workflows
