Summary
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor (Plus Occasional Van Work) to join our dynamic team at BE Logistics. This role is vital in ensuring that our incoming and outgoing deliveries from our ETSF warehouse are handled efficiently, contributing to our mission of outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Devanning of Container for our ETSF Warehouse operation including heavy lifting as required.
- Checking/Labelling Freight
- Loading Freight to own vehicle and sub contractors
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the traffic team and customers regarding storage/delivery status.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- General Warehouse duties including cleaning
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as warehouse operative and delivery driver in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with national routes and traffic regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
