Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change to customers.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
