About the Role:
We're looking for a passionate Packaging Operative/Fulfilment Assistant to help us with the final stage of our fulfilment and getting our orders of hardwood planks and panels out the door to our customers. You'll be working hands on with our finished timber to package our bespoke products, ensuring they meet our high standards and safely get delivered to customers.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their piece/s in one piece, with packaging and branding that impresses them. You'll be working alongside our workshop team to complete the final stage of the Planks operation..

Schedule requirements:
- Availability Wednesday & Thursday weekly; 9am - 5pm.
- Availability Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays; 10am - 2pm (minimum hours, shifting to 9am - 5pm).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Fulfilment: packaging our finished products to a high standard to protect them and ensure an excellent first experience for our customers.
- Quality Control & finishing: quality checking products before they are packaged and carrying out minor finishing touches (use of a hand sander).
- Workshop Maintenance: keeping your workspace clean, tidy and resetting it after each shift. Contributing and suggesting improvements for packaging stations and materials to improve efficiency.
What You’ll Need:
- Ideally prior packaging experience in a workshop or professional environment.
- Keen eye for detail and aesthetics, with an understanding of how a beautiful finished product should be complimented by the packaging for the customer experience.
- Proficient on a computer/tablet and able to use fulfilment systems to manage your work.
- Smart, independent thinking, common sense and comfort within workshop environments.
- Good clear written and spoken communication and ability to keep people up to date with progress via Slack.

- This role is part time and based at our workshop in Camberwell, South East London (SE5 0UN).

- Team drinks most Thursdays.
