We are working with a welcoming primary school in the West Kirby area that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class from September.
The role is initially expected to run until October half term, with the potential to continue beyond this point for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistent work within a supportive primary school environment.
The Role
- Supporting pupils within a Year 2 classroom
- Working alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning
- Providing support to individuals and small groups where required
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and engagement with learning
- Supporting classroom activities and interventions
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school
- Experience supporting KS1 would be desirable
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed to providing consistent support
- Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
