The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our production facility.
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take responsibility for production, people, quality, health & safety and operational performance, ensuring customer orders are manufactured efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the factory.
- Lead and motivate production staff and supervisors.
- Plan labour and production schedules.
- Ensure customer orders are produced accurately and on time.
- Maintain FSA, HACCP and food safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor yields, waste and production costs.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
- Conduct staff training, performance management and disciplinary procedures where required.
- Work closely with Directors to improve operational performance.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous Factory Manager or Production Manager experience within food manufacturing.
- Experience within the meat industry is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and quality systems.
- Experience managing KPIs and production performance.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours
Monday – 5:00am – 4:00pm
Tuesday -5:30am - 4:00pm
Wednesday - 5:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday - 5:30am - 4:00pm
Friday: 4:30am – 1:30pm
Weekends free
Pay: £50,000.00 per year
