Job Overview
We are seeking professional and vigilant Casual SIA Door Supervisors for a single family event taking place over one night and the following day in June in Lowestoft to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves managing entry points, monitoring activities, and responding promptly to any incidents. The ideal candidates will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities
- Control access to the venue or premises, checking identification and ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to monitor activity and identify potential security risks.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to any disturbances or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist in crowd control during busy periods or special events to ensure safety for all attendees.
Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing challenging situations professionally.
- First aid certification is highly desirable, enabling prompt response to medical emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and the public.
- Organised, attentive to detail, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
