Weightmans is investing in the continued growth of our Insolvency & Recoveries team and we're looking to speak with both Partners seeking a new platform and Senior Associates ready to step into Partnership.
Our Insolvency & Recoveries team advises on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of personal and corporate insolvency, acting for insolvency practitioners, lenders, businesses, directors and other stakeholders. The team has significant expertise across:
- Corporate and personal insolvency
- Business recovery and restructuring
- Company distress and turnaround situations
- Insolvency litigation
- Director disqualification matters
- Debt recovery and enforcement
- Winding-up and bankruptcy proceedings
- Secured lending and enforcement
- Retention of title and financial security issues
- CVAs, pre-pack administrations and restructuring solutions
- HMRC and tax-related insolvency disputes
- Partnership insolvency matters
- Third Party Rights Against Insurers Act issues
The practice works closely with colleagues across litigation, banking, corporate, real estate and regulatory teams to deliver joined-up solutions for clients facing complex financial challenges.
We're seeking ambitious lawyers with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and a passion for business development.
