Bank Support Worker

· Location: Tonbridge TN10, Kent
· Hours: Bank role, 24 hours per shift (including sleeping night from 10pm)
· Pay: 7am–10pm at £15.00 per hour, 10pm–7am at £12.71 per hour
· Contract: Bank Contract
· Driving requirements: Yes- MANUAL licence essential
· Training: Full specialist training provided
Our client, Frank, is looking for a caring and experienced support worker who can make a difference to his life. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful role supporting one person to live life to the fullest.
We’re looking for a dedicated, upbeat support worker to support Frank, a sociable man in his 30s who lives with a physical disability and epilepsy. Frank enjoys football, good conversation, and getting involved in lively activities. In this role, you’ll play an important part in helping him enjoy a full and active life, providing support with personal care, meal preparation, and mobility using a hoist. Frank attends different day activities, which you will accompany him to. There is also light cleaning and maintenance duties to carry out.
What you’ll be doing:
· Providing full support with personal care
· Preparing nutritious meals
· Supporting mobility using a hoist and other specialist equipment
· Driving to and from activities and accompany Frank while out in the community
· Complete household tasks and routine maintenance checks
· Working closely with Frank’s family, therapists and case management team
Requirements:
· A full UK manual driving license is essential with access to your own vehicle and be confident driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle, or willing to learn
· Experience supporting adults with disabilities and epilepsy
· Ability to support on bank shifts
