- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages in the canteen
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining area
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or canteen setting
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
