Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00 - 15:00
Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality cleaning and visitor support services at a busy London visitor attraction, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service. The role requires regular interaction with visitors of all ages, providing a welcoming, helpful and professional presence while contributing to a safe, clean and enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support and Quality Standards
- Carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks to agreed standards.
- Ensure all public areas, visitor facilities, staff areas and welfare areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Respond promptly to spillages, accidents and service requests.
- Complete allocated cleaning schedules and checklists accurately.
- Support the team in maintaining the overall appearance and presentation of the attraction.
- Report any maintenance issues, defects or cleaning concerns to the Supervisor.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the site.
Client Relationships
- Build positive working relationships with site teams.
- Respond professionally and promptly to client feedback or service requests.
- Support the resolution of any cleaning concerns raised
Stock and Equipment Management
- Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored and used correctly.
- Promote safe and economical use of cleaning products.
Health, Safety and Compliance
- Promote safe working practices
- Support compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Report accidents and incidents in line with company procedures.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience in a cleaning, customer service or visitor-facing role
- Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, standards and best practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Experience carrying out cleaning inspections and quality checks.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
- Well organised with the ability to manage priorities and to think on their feet to unexpected situations
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Friendly, approachable and confident when interacting with members of the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively with visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
- Reliable, professional and punctual.
- Flexible approach to duties and working hours.
- Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Have energy, enthusiasm, and great customer service
Requirements:
- The successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
