Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry, and exceptional communication abilities. This role involves overseeing daily sales operations, developing strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring excellent customer service to maximise dealership profitability. A background in sales, sales management, and proficiency with CRM software are highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets through coaching and performance management.
- Manage all incoming sales enquires.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the used car market to optimise revenue.
- Manage customer expectations by providing outstanding service, addressing inquiries, and facilitating smooth transactions.
- Oversee the utilisation of CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
- Organise promotional events and upselling initiatives to increase vehicle sales volume.
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication at all times.
- Collaborate with finance departments to ensure seamless processing of deals and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, pricing strategies, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, sales management, or automotive retail environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear and persuasive dialogue.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous for engaging with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales management tools.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximise profit margins.
