This is a hands-on, operational role with a strong focus on:
Leading and managing a varied employee relations caseload, primarily focused on sickness absence, alongside misconduct, grievances and appeals, including complex and sensitive cases
Driving reductions in sickness absence through proactive case management, with a particular focus on long-term absence, frequent short-term absence and areas with persistently high absence levels
