Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our on-site café team at Salop Leisure in Shrewsbury. This role is vital in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our visitors while serving high-quality coffee and refreshments. The position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant leisure environment that values excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees and beverages to customers.
- Ensure the café maintains high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with visitors in a friendly manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café area.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Support team members to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions on a EPOS Till
- Enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work weekends or peak times if required.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
