As a Graduate Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our sales and business development activities. You will work closely with clients, prospects and internal teams to identify opportunities, generate leads and contribute to revenue growth.
This position is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, confident communicating with people and eager to develop professional sales skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the identification and qualification of prospective clients
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Assist with lead generation activities through outbound calls, emails, networking and social media engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for senior sales team members.
- Follow up with leads and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the preparation and delivery of sales proposals and presentations.
- Help achieve individual and team sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop a strong understanding of client needs and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions within CRM systems.
- Support account management activities to ensure a positive client experience.
- Respond to client enquiries and provide information about Invcta's services.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
Sales Administration
- Update and maintain sales databases and CRM platforms.
- Prepare reports on sales activity, pipeline progress and lead generation performance.
- Support contract administration and proposal documentation.
- Ensure all sales records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with sales forecasting and pipeline management activities.
Marketing & Events Support
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to support lead generation campaigns.
- Assist with the promotion of events and networking opportunities.
- Represent Invcta at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions when required.
- Support post-event follow-up activities and lead conversion initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Essential
- A degree (or expected degree completion) in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Management or a related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good numerical and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, fundraising, events or business development through employment, internships, placements, volunteering or university projects.
