Working hours, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 10pm, plus day in on a Friday 8am to 4pm -32 hour contract
Responsible to the Quality Engineer
The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of KPIs through the co-ordination of
resources to ensure quality standards are maintained thereby maximising output.
The co-ordination of employee development together with optimising quality processes.
· Daily checks of the production process and record/ support rectification (Reported
via Teams)
· Daily product specification checks as directed by the QM.
· Report identified non-conformities to Production Management for corrective action.
· Placing non-conforming/suspect stock on test.
· Liaising with production on sorting test stock.
· Drive corrective actions in respect of internal and external complaints.
· Complete weekly quality checks on an audit basis to check for product compliance.
· Carry out hygiene audits of the workplace as directed by the QM.
· Auditing of operator compliance with regards to training and job qualification.
· Supporting “Return to Work” interviews within the company procedure.
· Booking of holidays to comply with the business requirements.
· Supporting complaint investigation where appropriate.
· Support testing of product development.
· Support/co-ordinate training of operators.
· Be proactively involved in continuous improvement initiatives
