Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Analyst to support the strategic growth and operational development of our food retail and takeaway business. The successful candidate will analyse business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, develop commercial strategies and provide data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability and customer experience.
The role will involve reviewing operational processes across retail and takeaway activities, analysing sales performance, evaluating market trends, supporting business planning activities and implementing improvements to enhance overall business performance.
Working closely with directors and operational teams, the Business Analyst will provide insights into business performance, cost optimisation, customer behaviour, digital opportunities and sustainable growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business operations, financial performance and commercial data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct business reviews and prepare reports, forecasts and recommendations for senior management.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend operational improvements.
- Analyse customer trends, sales patterns and market conditions to support strategic decisions.
- Support development and implementation of business growth strategies.
- Review costs, resources and operational efficiency to improve profitability.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop performance dashboards and management reports.
- Support digital transformation initiatives including online sales and customer engagement improvements.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather business information.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Support business expansion plans and evaluate new commercial opportunities
Requirement
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes, data analysis techniques, and project management principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
