Pay: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, depending on age

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team on a temporary fixed-term contract, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after 3 months.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are picked, packed, checked and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and work as part of a busy, friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing wholesale customer orders accurately
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Checking stock and reporting any discrepancies
- Receiving, moving and storing goods safely
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor and wider team as required
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
Skills and Experience
Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, but full training can be provided for the right person.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Organised and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on their feet throughout the day
- Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Willing to learn and support the wider warehouse team
Working Hours
This is a full-time role working:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract
This is initially a temporary fixed-term contract for 3 months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position depending on business needs and performance.
