Alter Academy is looking for an experienced and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for the ongoing development, improvement and maintenance of our websites, platforms and upcoming digital projects.

- HTML & CSS
- Python
- JSON
- Full Stack Web Development
- Website development and management
- APIs and third-party integrations
- Website performance and optimisation
- SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation)
- Technical SEO
- AI-driven search and optimisation
- The latest AI, SEO and search-engine practices
- Website security and performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining our existing websites and platforms
- Building new features and functionality
- Working on ongoing website and digital projects
- Improving website speed, performance and user experience
- Implementing technical SEO and AEO strategies
- Keeping our websites up to date with the latest AI and search developments
- Integrating APIs and third-party systems
- Identifying and fixing bugs and technical issues
- Working with management to turn ideas into working digital solutions
- Helping develop new online products, platforms and systems
- Continuously identifying ways to improve our websites and digital presence
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong full stack development experience
- Has excellent problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and manage their own workload
- Has a genuine interest in AI, SEO and emerging technology
- Keeps up to date with the latest developments in web development and search
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can take projects from an initial idea through to completion
- Is proactive and able to suggest improvements
- Is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
