Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner.
This role could be full-time or could suit 2 part-timers. Rota will include weekends.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the owners home.
The owner is also requiring help with cooking and errands such as driving to appointments and shopping.
This role is very much a companion as much as a housekeeper.
Previous experience as a personal housekeeper working in a 1-1 care environment is preferred however a caring, fun and friendly personality is most important alongside reliability and trustworthyness.
Responsibilities
Cleaning;
- Clean guest rooms & public areas.
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all amenities are in place
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
- Assist with laundry duties as required
Housekeeping:
- Cooking and preparing meals
- Drive owner for errands such as shopping, appointments & social meet up's
Experience
- Previous experience as a housekeeper is preferable but not essential
- Must hold a full clean driving license - essential, car provided
Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
