Thermal Insulation Engineers – Portsmouth
We are currently recruiting experienced Thermal Insulation Engineers to join our team in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major project with competitive hourly rates and overtime opportunities available.
Pay Rates
- Basic rate: £19.04 per hour
- Overtime × 1: £28.56 per hour
- Overtime × 2: £38.08 per hour
- Nightshift: £28.56 per hour
- Tier 2 allowance: Additional £6.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Install thermal insulation to pipework, ductwork, ventilation systems and equipment
- Measure, cut and fit insulation materials accurately
- Read and follow technical specifications and work instructions
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
- Inspect completed work and report any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all company and site health and safety procedures
- Work effectively as part of a wider project team
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Thermal Insulation Engineer
- Valid Blue or Gold TICA Skill Card
- Good knowledge of thermal insulation materials and installation methods
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and professional approach to work
