Role: Senior Java/AWS Developer
Location: Leeds (3 days onsite per week)
Salary: £65?£70k (including 10% annual bonus)

Key Skills:
Java (Spring Boot), AWS (ECR/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Apigee), AngularJS, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Groovy, Typescript, Karate, Gherkin, Cypress, Docker, GitLab, Maven, CI/CD, secure coding.
Certification: AWS DevOps Engineer Professional (or above) required; ITIL is desirable.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain secure, high-quality code.
Design and develop AWS-based solutions.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling.
Support integrations and production services.
Provide L3/on-call support when required.
Candidate profile:
Java (Spring Boot) ? 7+ years of hands-on experience, including advanced features (Java 11?21).
AWS Cloud Services ? Deep expertise in:
ECS, ECR, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS.
CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
Apigee for API management.
Frontend Frameworks ? Strong proficiency in AngularJS (mandatory), plus Angular/React exposure.
CI/CD & DevOps ? Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Maven, SonarQube, Fortify on Demand.
Testing Tools ? Karate, Gherkin, Cypress, Jest (explicitly required).
Scripting ? Groovy, Bash, Node 10, TypeScript.
