Chef
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
- Create and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with established quality standards
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members
Note: Bartending experience is not required for this position.
