We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with clients and team members
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with no major endorsements or restrictions
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedules under pressure
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed
