Code Kids is the UK's leading provider of technology and creative design courses for children ages 6 to 14. We run after school coding workshops in schools across London. We are a cool start-up company with a mission to provide affordable, leading STEM education to children.
You are expected to be available for a minimum of at least 2 days a week and Saturday mornings. The work schedule is primarily between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm. This is the time when we run our after-school clubs sessions in CROYDON and CATERHAM. We are hiring for various locations.
Successful candidates also have the opportunity to work on a full time basis during the holidays in our camp settings, or online teaching where we can offer you up to 20 hours a week of paid work during term time.
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people who have an interest in tutoring or technology. This is a perfect role for a trainee teacher or a Bachelor's or graduate-level student seeking extra income in a rewarding and stimulating environment. All travel costs will be reimbursed.

Requirements
- PGCE, Graduate or PhD level .
- Extreme reliability.
- Attention to safeguarding of children.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate ( we will also obtain the certificate on your behalf)
- Energy and ethusiasm
- Strong values and an interest in education
- Comfortable in dealing with parents and kids, highly organised and enthusiastic
- Keen interest in technology and be able to grasp technical concepts quickly in order to lead sessions
- Coding knowledge is not necessary - you will need to attend training sessions
- Be flexible and willing to travel.
