Duties
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks in designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, corridors, and other common areas according to company standards
- Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and cleaning carts efficiently and safely
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll to ensure availability at all times
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines to ensure all areas are maintained consistently and thoroughly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of janitorial equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently
- Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude towards early morning shifts
