We are looking for a care assistant to join an existing team supporting a lady in her own home with a brain injury. The client has a peg and lives in her own purpose adapted home.
Care is 2 to 1 during the day and night.
Hours: 36 hour contract available, waking night shifts 20.00-08.00 three shifts per week. Must be able to work alternative weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to clients during night hours.
- Follow care plans accurately to meet individual needs.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.
- Document care activities accurately and promptly.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in home care or care home settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is required
- Ability to follow detailed care plans.
- Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Flexibility to work night shifts.
